About
Why we built Vitaeon
Vitaeon Health builds a healthspan platform on a simple premise: the data describing your body should belong to you, in one place, and it should add up to something you can act on.
What Vitaeon is
Health data is scattered by default. Blood work stays with whichever lab drew it, a wearable keeps its own record, and a genetic test is a file downloaded once and never opened again. Nutrition, sleep quality and mood are usually not recorded at all. No single party holds the whole picture — least of all the person it describes.
Vitaeon is built on the premise that this is backwards. It brings those sources into one place you control, adds what no provider tracks, and reads them together, because the signals interact: poor sleep shows up in tomorrow's glucose, and training load shows up in heart rate variability days before it shows up in how you feel.
Most health apps present a dashboard and leave the interpretation to you. Vitaeon returns one number and three things to do today.
That number is the Healthspan Score, and it resolves into four pillars: Fuel (metabolic and vitality), Rest (sleep and recovery), Move (physical performance), and Mind (cognitive and emotional). The pillars are not a presentation layer. They are how the score is calculated, and a weak pillar pulls the whole score down rather than being averaged away.
The name carries the argument. Vitae is Latin for "of life"; an aeon is an age, a span longer than any single lifetime. Together they point at healthspan rather than lifespan — not the years you are alive, but the years you spend in good working order. That distinction is the product.
Aeon Health Research
Aeon Health Research is the name the research library is published under. Every article carries the byline of the person who wrote it, and contributors are listed on this page with their background and profiles you can check.
The subjects are mechanisms that are already published: heart rate variability and recovery, glucose variability in people without diabetes, time-restricted eating, aerobic base training, sleep debt. The articles summarise that literature and explain how the product reads those signals. They are not original research.
This is general wellness and education content, not medical advice, and every article says so. What Vitaeon is and is not is set out in the Terms of Service.
Founder and CEO
Rajesh Gathwala
Twenty years in life sciences and healthcare technology. At Agilent Technologies he led enterprise transformation work — SaaS and XaaS business models, and the rollout of generative AI and ML Ops across business units and R&D teams. Before that, at Oracle, he worked with Fortune 500 companies on data architecture, cloud infrastructure, and digital platforms. He is an engineer rather than a clinician: a bachelor's in electrical engineering and a master's in computer science. What he brings to this subject is two decades of watching how measurement and data systems in this industry actually behave, and a long habit of tracking his own training and blood work — Vitaeon began as the tool he wanted for that. What he is building now is the consumer-controlled version of it: your labs, your wearable, and your genetics held by you rather than by whoever happened to collect them.
Editorial standards
Every article and every line of product copy is written to these rules.
- Number first. A claim without a figure attached is an opinion.
- Actionable, or not worth saying. An observation you cannot do anything with is trivia.
- Directional, never binary. "Trending toward your range", not "healthy" — a single reading is a data point, not a verdict.
- No hype. No exclamation marks, no "breakthrough", no "miracle".
- Corrections are visible. A materially revised article carries its revision date on the page.
What we will not claim
Vitaeon is a wellness product. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition, and nothing we publish is a substitute for a conversation with your clinician. If a number here worries you, that is a reason to see a doctor, not a reason to act on an app.
We also do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell it. What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy.
